A new loungewear start-up based in Australia that is dedicated to producing high-quality, 100% Mulberry silk garments. With a focus on making luxurious silk wear more accessible to younger generations, particularly millennials and Gen Z, SLKWRM also seeks to promote the various health benefits of silk, especially for those with sensitive skin.
To convey its modern, contemporary, and stylish essence, we developed a premium yet friendly visual identity that perfectly encapsulates the brand’s core values.
The color palette comprises pastel washed neutrals that evoke feelings of comfort and freshness, with each color distinct yet harmoniously balanced as a collective. The typography features clean and modern fonts that exude a timeless luxury, embodying SLKWRM’s brand personality.
Every element of the brand’s visual identity, from the typography to the imagery style, is carefully designed to showcase SLKWRM’s commitment to producing high-quality silk products. The brand’s logo, for instance, is luxurious and sophisticated, yet casual and approachable, representing the duality of the brand that offers both high-end luxury and accessible fashion for younger audiences. The combination of two different typefaces, which appear contradictory in form and personality, reflects the brand’s balance of sophistication and approachability, making silk wear a fashionable option for both mature high-end customers and modern millennials.
